Meeting and film show took place in Bangladesh and Benin and meeting, book exhibition and film show in Ecuador from August 27 to September 1.

Displayed at the venue of the book exhibition were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books dealing with their exploits.

Films shown included Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation."

The president of the Bangladesh People's League said that the DPRK turned into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence for the past 66 years since Kim Il Sung proclaimed to the whole world the foundation of a genuine independent and sovereign state.

The president of the Socialist Party of Benin noted that the foundation of the DPRK was a historic event which brought about a drastic turn in carving out the destiny of the Korean people, stressing victory and glory are always in store for the DPRK led by Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea said that exploits Kim Il Sung performed by building the country will shine for all ages.

He went on:

Kim Il Sung was the great leader who dedicated his whole life to the liberation of the country, happiness of its people and accomplishment of the cause of global independence.

The socialist cause of the DPRK is triumphantly advancing despite the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK as Kim Jong Un is leading the drive of building a thriving nation by carrying forward the idea and cause of the great Generalissimos.

A message of greeting to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Benin.
