Displayed on the front walls of the venues were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and full-length portrait of the Generalissimos standing together. Seen before them were floral baskets and bouquets.

On display there were photos documenting the immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were works of peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and pictures introducing the history of victory and glory covered by the DPRK.

Present there on invitation were personages of governments, political parties, military, organizations and institutions of relevant countries, diplomatic envoys of different countries and members of the organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and Juche idea study organizations.

Officials of the DPRK missions in relevant countries were on hand.

A vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress said the foundation of the DPRK was an event that opened a new era in which Korean people became masters of the country.

A vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam expressed pleasure over the great successes achieved by the Korean people in the shining historical course of 66 years.

The advisor to the Presidential Advisory Council warmly congratulated the Korean people greeting the 66th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The 66 years of the DPRK were proud years in which it, once a weak colonial nation, became a full-fledged power under the guidance of the great President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il, he noted, adding:

I am rejoiced over the fact that the Korean people are working world-startling miracles and innovations in succession and demonstrating before the world the dignity and might of the DPRK as they are holding the respected HE Kim Jong Un in high esteem.
