Talks between Secretary of C.C., WPK and Chairman of International Committee of Social-Democratic Party of Germany

| Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- Talks were held on Sept. 8 between Kang Sok Ju, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), who is heading the delegation of the WPK on a visit to Germany and Niels Annen, chairman of the International Committee of the Social-Democratic Party of Germany. Present there on the WPK side were members of the delegation and the DPRK ambassador to Germany and on the opposite side the coordinator for Foreign Policy of the Social-Democratic Party Group from the Bundestag (Federal Parliament) and the director of the Headquarters Office of the "Friedrich Ebert" Foundation of the Social-Democratic Party. Discussed at the talks were issues of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties. The WPK delegation was invited to a reception given by Niels Annen on the same day. Meanwhile, Kang Sok Ju met and had a talk with the representative of the German Foreign Ministry and other officials concerned. |
