On display there are more than 380 peculiar and useful designs and at least 430 products presented by creators, teachers, researchers and students of industrial art creating units and educational fields and designers and workers of units manufacturing furniture and daily necessities.

Present at the opening ceremony were Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Kim Yong Jin, officials concerned, creators, designers, teachers, students and art fans.

Kim Yong Jin in an opening address called for producing more designs and products meeting Koreans' taste and sense of beauty.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the exhibition hall.
