The school took the first place in the Taekwon-Do event for the 40th National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize that came to an end some days ago, thus becoming a third consecutive winner in the event.

It is 17 years ago that the school began running a Taekwon-Do group after selecting it as a key sporting event.

The group finished second in a city-wide tournament only one year after its organization, and has bagged 18 gold medals in national tournaments until now.

The school is now intensifying the Taekwon-Do training to retain its national championship.
