Film Shows Held Abroad to Mark Birthday of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- Film shows took place in Mongolia, Thailand, Indonesia, Nigeria and Guinea on Sept. 3 and 4 on the occasion of the 66th birthday of the DPRK. Figures of all social standings and masses of relevant countries attended them. Films shown included Korean films "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation" and "Munsu Water Park". The vice-president of the National University of Mongolia said he saw the appearance of powerful Songun Korea while watching films, adding he felt truly envious of the Korean people invariably holding aloft the banner of socialism and building a prosperous country, rallied close around Marshal Kim Jong Un. The manager of the world cereals company of Thailand said the film show helped him know better about the DPRK which has turned into a people's paradise good to live in under the energetic guidance of leader Kim Jong Il. Modern cultural and welfare establishments sprang up and a heyday of construction is being ushered in the DPRK under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, he added. A department director of an Indonesian company said the Koreans could fly their national flag with dignity since President Kim Il Sung liberated the country and founded the DPRK. A teacher of a university in Guinea said the DPRK founded by the President is ushering in a great heyday of its development. The DPRK advancing to emerge an economic, scientific and technological and sports power while consolidating its position as a political, ideological and military power will certainly attain its grandiose goal, he stressed. |
