DPRK Papers Blast S. Korean Regime's Confrontation Racket

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet regime staged a confrontation charade called "Inchon landing operation-a war victory celebration" in Inchon from Sept. 13 to 15. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says that the reckless farce for confrontation with the DPRK staged by the south Korean warmongers in the run-up to the 17th Asian Games in which the DPRK players group is participating is an intolerable politically-motivated provocation to it. The commentary continues: It was the intention of these warmongers to incite the atmosphere of confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north in the venues of the international games in a bid to obstruct the DPRK's participation in the games and, furthermore, drive the inter-Korean relations into a more catastrophic phase. What happened in south Korea would offer sportspersons and peace-loving people of Asia an opportunity to clearly realize once again that it is the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime that are disturbing the peace on the Korean peninsula. Now that the south Korean puppet regime's moves for confrontation have reached a reckless phase, the DPRK's self-restraint has reached its limit. The improvement of the north-south relations is dearer to the north than anything else, but it cannot reach out even to those confrontation maniacs in quest of peace and reconciliation. The south Korean puppet regime would be well advised to behave with decorum, pondering over the baneful consequences to be brought by their reckless confrontation racket to the inter-Korean relations and the games. Minju Joson in a commentary urges the south Korean puppet regime to stop its rash act, well aware of the serious consequences to be entailed by its foolish and reckless confrontation burlesque. |
