Recently, its wrestlers Ri Kum Chol and Pak Jin Hyang bagged gold medals in men's freestyle 42 kg and women's freestyle 44 kg of the 2014 Asian Junior Wrestling Championship.

The credit for their success goes to the devoted efforts of Kim Hak Won and Kim Kyong Chol, wrestling coaches of the team.

Kim Hak Won, who trained Ri Kum Chol, works as chief wrestling coach of the team after graduating Korea University of Physical Education and Kim Kyong Chol, who trained Pak Jin Hyang, as a coach for women wrestlers after finishing his player career in the Kigwancha Sports Team.

With an ambition to produce Asian and world champions, they have devoted all their wisdom and efforts to training promising wrestlers. Thanks to their efforts, a number of wrestlers in the Jangsan Sports Team proved successful in domestic tournaments.
