Noting that Iran and the DPRK have historical and traditional friendly ties, the president said the bilateral friendly relations provided by President Kim Il Sung developed onto a new higher stage under the deep care of leader Kim Jong Il.

He said he was pleased that the good bilateral relations are favorably developing thanks to His Excellency Kim Jong Un.

He noted Iran was deeply concerned for peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the region, expressing conviction that the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula would surely be achieved thanks to the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un though hostile forces are now resorting to all machinations.
