Present there were personages of the Egyptian national preparatory committee for celebrating the 66th founding anniversary of the DPRK, the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Supply and people of different social standings in Al Gharbiya Province. The DPRK ambassador to Egypt and his embassy officials were present there on invitation.

On display at the venue of the event were photos documenting exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and their works and books introducing Songun Korea.

Speakers highly praised the exploits Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence.

They expressed the belief that under the leadership of Kim Jong Un the Korean people would surely win the final victory in the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle as they advance, holding aloft the banner of Songun.
