Present at the talks from the DPRK side were members of the delegation of the WPK led by Kang Sok Ju, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and the DPRK ambassador to Mongolia, and from the Mongolian side were members of the MDP delegation led by the general secretary and the Mongolian ambassador to the DPRK.

At the talks both sides informed each other of activities of their parties and exchanged views on the issue of boosting the friendly relations between the two parties and issues of mutual concern.

Meanwhile, that day the WPK delegation respectively met and had talks with the advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy of the President, the minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the mayor of Ulan Bator and members of the leadership of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party.
