S. African Personage Demands Withdrawal of U.S. Troops from S. Korea
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- We strongly demand the withdrawal of the U.S. troops from south Korea, finding it hard to repress our surging anger at the U.S. imperialist aggressors who resort to all atrocities while trampling upon the dignity of human beings.

Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party, said this in a statement on Sept. 10.

He went on:

The U.S. imperialists occupied south Korea on Sept. 8, 1945 which became a starting point of the disgraceful history of division of the Korean nation.

Their occupation of south Korea is an unpardonable act which mercilessly dampened the aspiration and trampled the rights of the Korean people for independent development.

It is also an anti-reunification criminal act as it disturbs peace on the Korean peninsula, increases the danger of a nuclear war and prevents the reunification of Korea.

The U.S. terms its troops in south Korea a "deterrence" for peace and security and "protectors" of south Korean people but it is a sheer lie as was proven by the 69 year-long history of the U.S. troops' presence in south Korea.

We denounce the U.S. forces' presence in south Korea as it disturbs peace on the Korean peninsula and brings a new war to it.

We extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their righteous struggle for the reunification of the country.
