DPRK's Birthday Marked by Newspapers of Uruguay, Nepal

Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- The Uruguayan and Nepali newspapers carried special write-ups with the portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 66th founding anniversary of the DPRK. The Uruguayan newspaper La Juventud on Sept. 9 devoted a whole page to articles titled "Nation-building exploits of President Kim Il Sung" and "Socialist Korea, people's country". It said that the Korean people are holding in high esteem Kim Il Sung as the eternal President of the DPRK for his great nation-building exploits. Noting that leader Kim Jong Il steadily developed the DPRK founded by the President with the Songun leadership, it said Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into the people's country. The strong foundation of politics, military and economy laid by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il provides a sure guarantee for the DPRK to dynamically advance along the road of victory in the future, too, it added. The Nepali newspaper Arpan on Sept. 5 carried an article titled "Great Leader President Kim Il Sung" praising him for liberating the country, winning the victory in the war and building the nation. The Nepali paper Gorkha Express on Sept. 9 carried an article titled "Invincible socialist power" saying that the DPRK became an invincible socialist power thanks to the leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Noting that the DPRK is demonstrating its might thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un, the paper spoke highly of the Songun leadership exploits he performed by leading the struggle for increasing the capabilities for national defence, construction of economic power, standoff with the U.S. and the construction of a highly civilized socialist country. |
