Wreaths Laid before Bust of Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Monday, the 65th anniversary of her demise.

Seen standing before the bust was a wreath sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were senior officials of the party, state and army, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF), working people, school youth and children in Pyongyang.

Wreaths were laid before the bust in the name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet.

Also placed before the bust were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and KPISF, scientific, educational, public health and media institutions, national joint organization of the Korean Children's Union and party and power bodies, factories and farms in Pyongyang.

The participants observed a moment's silence, looking back on the revolutionary life of Kim Jong Suk.

Also laid before her statues at Kim Jong Suk County, Hoeryong City, Kim Jong Suk Naval University and Kim Jong Suk General Military Academy were floral baskets in the name of local party and power bodies, working people's organizations, units of the KPA and the KPISF, factories, enterprises, farms, schools, etc. and flowers on the same day.

Meanwhile, the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front visited the bust of Kim Jong Suk at the cemetery and paid tribute to her.
