Present at the talks from the WPK side were members of the delegation of the WPK led by Kang Sok Ju, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and the DPRK ambassador to Mongolia, and from the opposite side were members of the delegation of the Mongolian People's Party led by General Secretary J. Munkhbat, and the Mongolian ambassador to the DPRK.

The general secretary said that the visit to Mongolia by the WPK delegation marked an important occasion in developing the 60-odd-year-long friendly relations between the two countries.

He expressed the will to make a positive contribution to boosting the traditional multifaceted exchange and cooperation between the two parties and countries.

The general secretary gave a reception in honor of the WPK delegation on the same day.

The delegation toured various places in the capital city and provinces of Mongolia.
