The Russian paper Selskaya Zhizn carried an article titled "Independent country-DPRK" illustrated with a photo of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The paper said:

It is a serious lesson taught by international events in recent years that a country should have strength, first of all, in order to defend its sovereignty and peace.

Several countries are suffering the tragedy of bloodshed and collapse, their sovereignty and dignity infringed upon by imperialists as they are not strong enough to stand up against the aggression and interference by the latter.

However, there is a country which remains undeterred by the imperialist policy of strength. It is the DPRK.

The DPRK, which is firmly defending its sovereignty and dignity from the imperialist allied forces, is instilling great confidence and courage into the countries aspiring after independence and dynamically advancing the cause of global independence.

The Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK posted on its website such articles as "Founder of DPRK", "Unforgettable leader of people" and "Invincible socialist power." They were illustrated with photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Articles introducing the victorious and glorious path covered by the DPRK were posted on internet magazines including Hanber Journal and websites of the Rostov Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Crimean Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Anti-Globalization Movement.
