Attending it were officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Pyongyang Horticulture Guidance Bureau, and scientists, technicians and workers at the units for greenhouse vegetable cultivation and scientific institutions across the country.

There took place a lecture on technical issues arising in designing and building solar greenhouses and regulating the temperature inside greenhouses.

Its participants heard explanations about issues arising in scientifically and technologically growing hothouse vegetables and improving the technique and skill of the employees.

They also heard papers on the successes and experience gained in the scientific researches into increasing harvest and nutritive value of vegetables in greenhouses and production.
