The International Maritime Organization adopted relevant laws and regulations beneficial to the maritime development and calls upon all its member nations to sincerely carry them out, the speakers said, adding it set this year's theme as "Effective Implementation of Convention of the International Maritime Organization."

They referred to the successes made by the DPRK in legalizing and carrying out important conventions and rules adopted by the IMO and the maritime search and rescue structure system and the prospect for protection of the maritime environment.

The participants watched a video related to the implementation of laws and regulations of the IMO.
