Kim Un Ju lifted 163 kg in the second jerk in the 75 kg category, breaking the Asian record and the one of the Asian Games.

What she lifted is the same as the previous world record.

She lifted 164 kg in the third jerk, setting a new world record in jerk.

So she renewed the record of the Asian Games with a total lift of 292 kg.

Kim Un Hyang successfully performed gymnastic movements requiring high techniques, placing first in the women's balance beam event with the highest points.

On the same day DPRK players came second in the men's 10 meter moving target team event and Jo Yong Chol in the men's 10 meter moving target individual event. Rim Jong Sim won a bronze medal in the 75 kg category of the women's weightlifting event.
