The statement said:

We remember with deep emotion Kim Jong Suk, mother of Korea and anti-Japanese war hero, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of her demise.

She was an indomitable revolutionary fighter who performed distinguished exploits in the armed struggle to liberate Korea from the yoke of Japanese imperialism and in the building of new democratic Korea and a pioneer of the Juche-based Korean women's movement.

She made a great contribution to building the revolutionary armed forces in new Korea.

Though she passed away, her great life dedicated to the Korean revolution and people will always be remembered not only by the Korean people but by the world progressives.
