DPRK Olympic Committee Delegation, Its Players Meet

Inchon, September 27 (KCNA Correspondent) -- Members of the delegation of the DPRK Olympic Committee and the DPRK's players group taking part in the 17th Asian Games held a meeting "Evening longing for respected Marshal Kim Jong Un" in Inchon, south Korea on Saturday. Kim Yong Hun, chairman of the DPRK Olympic Committee and minister of Physical Culture and Sports, is heading the delegation. At the meeting the minister said not many days they spent in the south away from the care of the Marshal, but the minds of all members of the delegation and players are running to him whom they long to see, awake or asleep. Heard from the venue of the meeting was loud song "Warm Feelings" reflecting the single-minded unity of the service personnel and people of the DPRK linked with the unbreakable blood ties with the Marshal. Player Kim Un Guk recited his own poem "Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un", mesmerizing the participants. Player Kim Hyok Bong told them how he grew up to be a sportsman of Songun Korea, having his hope and skill given full play under the loving care of the great father. Led by him, the participants sang song "We Cannot Live without You". Kim Il, secretary general of the Korean Wrestling Association, called upon all players to glorify the country with gold medals at the games with the courage and pluck of the Marshal, the banner of victory and glory. Kim Pyong Sik, head of the players group, underlined the need for all players to grab more gold medals at the games while loudly singing song "Ardent Desire" and to make a report of loyalty to the Marshal. Deputy head of the players group Sin Yong Chol ardently called for flying the DPRK flags at venues of games, bearing in mind that the country and its people are watching the players. |
