S. Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Declares Mammoth Strikes

Pyongyang September 29 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions declared an action against the misrule of the regime on Sept. 25, according to the south Korean paper Nodong and Segye.

The organization set such key goals as having a special law on the ferry Sewol enacted, and winning the right to existence and the right to work.

It mentioned that it would stage the all-people struggle on the first day of November, 200 days after the ferry Sewol disaster occurred.

It also declared such large-scale strikes as frustrating the regime's move to privatize healthcare and retrogressively revise the law on the pension of the public workers.
