Its participants heard speeches made on the subjects of "On Yun I Sang's patriotic activities for creating music", "On phases of Yun I Sang's music creation and their characteristics" and "Major characteristics of Yun I Sang's concerti".

The speakers referred in detail to music pieces composed by Yun and historical facts and his activities for music creation dedicated to the country and the nation as a world famous composer and talented musician.

They also made scientific and theoretical explanation about patriotic spirit reflected in his works and his peculiar composition and rendition that drew the attention of world music circle.

Yun sang of patriotism and conducted righteous activities for music creation worldwide, they noted, adding that his life would always be remembered by the fellow countrymen along with many music pieces composed by him.

The symposium was attended by Han Chol, vice-minister of Culture, officials concerned, creators and artistes of art organizations in Pyongyang and teachers and researches in the field of art education.
