The team led by Hwang Hye Sim recently gave a scientific explanation for some factors of child epilepsy on the basis of specific analysis of its morbidity by age and its genetic heterogeneity.

The research result shows that the age of its outbreak was mainly from 11 to 15 and then from 6 to 10. The main incentives to the outbreak of child epilepsy are fatigue and surfeit, according to the result.

The achievements won high appraisal at the academic seminar on neuro-internal medicine.
