Attending it were tens of thousands of people from all walks of life from across south Korea, including bereaved families of the ferry Sewol disaster, farmers, members of civic and public organizations and citizens.

At the rally speakers denounced the chief executive for trying to conceal the truth about the disaster.

How can we stop actions under the situation where nothing has been probed though many doubts were raised as regards the disaster, they noted.

They called upon all people to wage actions till the truth about the disaster is probed. At the end of the rally the participants staged a demo.
