The message said that he extended warm congratulations and best wishes to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the C.C., the WPK, all its members and the fraternal Korean people on behalf of the C.C., the LPRP, all its members and the Lao people and on his own behalf on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the founding of the WPK (October 10, 1945-October 10, 2014).

The message noted that the fraternal Korean people have achieved great successes in realizing the party's line and policies, building the economy and improving the people's living standard, in particular, under the banner of the Juche idea and Songun under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the great leaders of the Korean people, and the WPK headed by Kim Jong Un over the past 69 years
