Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Chinese Leaders

Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, together with Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, and Pak Pong Ju, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Tuesday sent a message of greeting to Xi Zinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), president of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and chairman of the Central Military Commission of the PRC, Li Keqiang, premier of the State Council of the PRC, and Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the PRC.

The message said as follows:

We extend congratulations to you and, through you, to the CPC, the government of the PRC and the Chinese people on behalf of the WPK, the DPRK government and people on the occasion of the 65th founding anniversary of the PRC.
