Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The Indonesian newspaper International Media carried special write-ups under the headline "Brilliant life" on Sept. 24 on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war hero. In the preface the paper said: September 22 is the day when Kim Jong Suk admired by the Korean people passed away. Short as her life was, she left indelible trace in the minds of the people. An article titled "Immortal trace" noted she embarked upon the road of revolution in her early years and earned fame by fully displaying superb military wisdom and stratagem, matchless pluck and bravery and marksmanship of never missing targets in many battle fields during the hard-fought anti-Japanese armed struggle. The anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters wrote words on barked trees in praise of her, the article said, and went on: She made great contributions to building a new country after the liberation of Korea. She tirelessly visited factories, enterprises, coal mines, mines, rural areas and fishing villages to arouse the people to the construction of a new country. She rendered extraordinary contributions to building up the military foundation with her energetic guidance for the organization of a regular army. The DPRK, a people's country, was founded on September 9, 1948, her long desire. Another article titled "Everlasting picture" noted she devotedly defended President Kim Il Sung's idea and line and devoted herself to his security and health during the anti-Japanese war. She is alive in the hearts of the Korean people as an incarnation devotedly defending the leader. |
