A letter of protest was read out at the rally.

It noted that the agreement for the purchase of fighters is nearing its conclusion.

It held that the Defense Ministry moves to buy the fighters under the pretext of having capacity to deter the north but it would bring a war crisis to the Korean Peninsula and waste the taxes paid by the people only as the fighters are to be used for preemptive attacks from A to Z.

The U.S. itself admits the shortcomings of the fighters, it added.

It stressed that the humiliating introduction of the fighters should be stopped immediately as it only fattens the U.S. munitions enterprises at the sacrifice of the south Korean people.

The letter urged the defense minister to take the responsibility for mocking at people and immediately step down.

That day the organization staged a demo against the introduction of the fighters.
