The WPK is enjoying the absolute support and trust from the people, the statement said, and went on:

The WPK has laid down the lines and policies fully reflecting the working people's opinions, wishes and interests and thoroughly implemented them.

The Korean people achieved a shining victory in the Fatherland Liberation War to beat back the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces' aggression under the wise leadership of the WPK headed by President Kim Il Sung. They also wound up the post-war rehabilitation and construction in a brief span of time and carried out industrialization, thus turning the DPRK into a powerful socialist industrial state.

They keenly realize the validity of the lines and policies of the WPK through their life experience.

The Korean people, therefore, have absolute trust in the WPK and they are unconditionally carrying out its lines and policies.

They are now all out to implement the WPK's policies, united close around Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK.

We sincerely wish them greater successes in the struggle to defend socialism.
