The statement deplored that the present regime talked about the "termination of abnormal things", but nothing has been done properly in the fields of politics, economy, society and culture.

The country's division into the south and the north is the most abnormal thing and it is the root cause of abnormal happenings in this land, the statement said, adding:

It is necessary to solve the issue of national division in order to root out them.

The October 4 declaration is the one for the development of the relations between the south and the north and peace and prosperity and a programme for implementing the June 15 joint declaration which promised reconciliation, cooperation, peace and reunification between the south and the north.

There is no reason to oppose the north and the south working hard to get reconciled and cooperate with each other and achieve the peaceful reunification.

The regime should prove its will in action, not just paying lip service to the "termination of abnormal things".

It is the top priority task of the present regime to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
