Presentation of Participants in Schoolchildren Art Competition Made

| Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The participants in the 9th Schoolchildren Individual Art Competition made a presentation at the Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Palace on Wednesday on the occasions of the 17th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 69th anniversary of the founding of the WPK. Put on the stage were yanggum solo "Our Father", folk solo "We Feel Grateful to the Party's Care" and female chorus "Let's Sing in Louder Voice Song of General Kim Jong Un". The performers sang great thanks for and yearning for Kim Jong Il who developed the WPK into a mother party responsible for the destiny of the Korean people and the rising generation. The audience was mesmerized by such numbers as trio "Marshal Kim Jong Un Is Our Father" and narration "Sound of Waves". Among the audience were Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the C.C., the youth league, officials concerned, officials of the youth league and school youth and children here. |
