The Lao newspaper Pasason carried an article titled "Kim Jong Il, undying exploits in party building" illustrated with the portrait of smiling leader Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il set forth the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung, the Juche idea, as the only guiding idea of the WPK and proclaimed it as the supreme programme of the WPK to model the whole society on Kimilsungism, the article said, and went on:

Under his leadership the WPK turned into an ideologically pure entity and an integral organization and the party which achieved the unity of actions.

The feats he performed for the cause of building the party will shine forever along with socialist Korea winning only victories.

The Lao newspaper Congtap Pasason Lao also carried an article praising his feats illustrated with a photo of him inspecting a unit of the Korean People's Army.

The Myanmar newspaper The New Age carried an article titled "We Serve the People!" with photos showing the revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The Bangladeshi newspaper Bangla Times said the WPK wins only victories amid absolute support and trust of the popular masses.
