Kim Jong Il to Be Remembered in Egypt

| Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- The Egyptian National Committee for Remembering Comrade Kim Jong Il was formed in Cairo on Oct. 2 in commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of his demise. Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the committee. The committee decided to publish leader Kim Jong Il's works and give wide publicity to them and organize such political and cultural events as a seminar, photo exhibition and film show from Oct. 2 to December 17. |
