Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il Praised by Foreigners
Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Events took place in various countries on the occasions of the 17th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 69th founding anniversary of the WPK.

They included meetings in the Czech Republic and Germany and photo and book exhibition and film show in Romania on Oct. 4.

Displayed on the front wall of the exhibition hall were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

On display at the venues of the events were photos documenting the party-building exploits of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos showing the might of the ever-victorious WPK were also on show.

Screened at the film show was Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation".

Jaroslav Kafka, chairperson of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, said the WPK has firmly preserved its revolutionary principle and successfully advanced the socialist cause despite the ceaseless moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK, adding this is because the WPK has the Juche idea founded by the President as its guiding idea.

The representative of the Czechoslovak Youth Communists Union praised Kim Il Sung as the eternal leader of not only the Korean people but also other progressives in the world.

Torsten Schoevitz, chairman of the Communist Party of Germany, said Kim Jong Il is eternal general secretary of the WPK who strengthened it with his outstanding idea and leadership.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, praised Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for developing the WPK.
