Papers Friday say this in editorials dedicated to the 69th founding anniversary of the WPK.

There were many politicians who organized and led parties but no one was as outstanding as President Kim Il Sung who gave a genuine origin to the building of a revolutionary party in his teens and led the cause of party building to victory for decades, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:

As leader Kim Jong Il formulated the revolutionary idea of the President as Kimilsungism and wisely led the cause of modeling the whole party on Kimilsungism, the WPK turned into the party of the leader and its leadership function and militant might steadily rose.

It turned into the revolutionary party in which the ideological system and leadership system of the leader have been firmly established, the mother party which forms a harmonious whole with the people and serves them and the invincible party with steel-like discipline and fighting capability. This is the proud appearance of the WPK which was strengthened under the care of Kim Jong Il.

Today the WPK is giving fuller play to the might as the party of the leader as it is led by another peerless great man.

Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un is the supreme leader of our party and people and distinguished statesman in the present era whom all progressives look up to. Thanks to the tested leadership of the Marshal possessed of gifted ideological and theoretical wisdom, extraordinary political caliber and noble virtues, the revolutionary nature of the WPK has been more clearly highlighted and its militant might remarkably strengthened. He has consolidated the unity and cohesion of the party as firm as a rock in keeping with the requirements of the present period in carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche. These great feats remain shining.

Minju Joson says the WPK will record only victory and glory on its sacred flag forever under the leadership of Kim Jong Un who is most successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and steadily strengthening WPK into their party.
