President Kim Il Sung advanced the DFRK proposal, the most just way of Korea's reunification, at the Sixth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea on October 10, Juche 69 (1980), the statement said, and went on:

The proposal is a precious legacy left by him for the Korean nation as it is the most realistic way of reunification and a bright blueprint which indicated the way of building a reunified state.
