Through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and performed great feats for the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence, the appeal said.

Though Kim Jong Il passed away, his feats are being given a steady continuity by Marshal Kim Jong Un, it noted.

Thanks to him, the peace on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of the world will be firmly defended and the Songun revolutionary idea and feats of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will remain shining forever as the eternal treasure of Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea and the treasured sword for winning sure victory of the global cause of independence, it said.

It called upon various countries to form committees for remembering Kim Jong Il, set December as a remembrance month and organize various events during the period on the occasion of the third anniversary of his demise.

It said that the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee to Support the Reunification of Korea decided to hold an internet seminar of Latin American region on the great life and feats of Kim Jong Il in Lima, Peru on December 12.

It called for highly praising Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un and conducting more brisk activities for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in the future, too.
