The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK said this in a joint statement on Oct. 6.

The statement continued:

The U.S. is pulling up socialist Korea over its nuclear deterrent and is also resorting to the vicious moves to defame the country with fabricated information.

The U.S. strategy towards the DPRK is to stifle it through the "human rights" campaign in case it fails to put pressure upon the DPRK over its nuclear deterrent.

The DPRK had no other option but to have access to nuclear deterrent because the U.S. has threatened the DPRK with nukes for more than half a century, and its line of simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force was an indispensable option of the DPRK reflecting the supreme interests of the Korean revolution.

The U.S. is resorting to a base move to defame the DPRK through the "human rights" campaign and disintegrate the popular masses-centered socialist system from within, forcing the country to disarm itself.

The U.S. had better be well aware of the fact that the DPRK will never stop keeping to the road of independence, Songun and socialism and its frantic racket for putting pressure upon the DPRK will make it take a tougher attitude.
