The theme for this year is "Choose handwashing, choose health".

In this regard, Kim Chol Man, a department director of the Ministry of Urban Management, told KCNA:

Hand-washing plays an important role in guaranteeing human health and preventing all sorts of diseases.

Such diseases as diarrhea and pneumonia, much detected among children, are caused by bacillus in hands.

That's why everyone, children and women in particular, should make it a rule to frequently wash hands with soap every day.
