Printed on the emblem and design are the name, venue and year of the championships in Korean and English.

Also depicted are number "19", Taekwon-Do kick movement and a tiger in Taekwon-Do uniform making straight punch.

The championships will take place in Pyongyang from August 24 to September 1, Juche 104 (2015). Pyongyang hosted the 8th World Taekwon-Do Championships in 1992, the 17th World Taekwon-Do Championships in 2011 and the 5th World Juvenile Taekwon-Do Championships in 2000.

Ri Yong Son, secretary general of the Championships Organizing Committee, told KCNA that diverse preparatory works are going on for the successful championships.
