By opening to public its plan for the use of nuclear weapons the U.S. has become unable to deny any longer that the large-scale anti-DPRK war exercises which it stages every year with the south Korean puppet forces under the pretext of "annual defensive exercises" are nuclear war drills for putting into practice the scenario for nuclear attack on the DPRK, the statement said, and went on:

Lurking behind the plan for the use of nuclear weapons against the DPRK is the U.S. sinister purpose to highlight "nuclear threat from the north", keep the puppet warmongers bound more tightly to the military alliance for aggression and thus hurl them as nuclear war servants and a shock brigade for a war of aggression against the north and introduce THAAD into south Korea in order to turn the Korean Peninsula into a nuclear outpost and a bridgehead for realizing its Asia-Pacific strategy.

Another aim sought by the U.S. in opening to public the scenario is to ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK at any cost by chilling the hard-won atmosphere for dialogue between the north and the south, bringing the north-south relations back to the phase of catastrophe and more frantically kicking up the bankrupt anti-DPRK nuclear racket.

The U.S. and the south Korean warmongers are the chief criminals posing nuclear threat to the Korean Peninsula and working hard to provoke a war on it.

The army of the DPRK which has grown up to be invincible elite force equipped with powerful nukes under the wise guidance of the illustrious commander of Mt. Paektu and the Korean people, their hearts burning with towering hatred, will resolutely foil the U.S. reckless attempt to use nukes with nuclear weapons of justice.

All the Koreans in the north, the south and overseas and the world peace-loving people should never tolerate the moves stepped up by the U.S. and its followers to ignite a nuclear war against the DPRK under the pretext of "nuclear threat from the north" behind the scene of dialogue and peace but turn out as one in the action to frustrate those moves.
