The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on Oct. 13 on the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the formation of DIU by President Kim Il Sung.

The formation of DIU served as an occasion which made the communists of the new generation of Korea break with the old ideas such as factionalism, flunkeyism and dogmatism and turn out in accomplishing the cause of building the revolutionary working-class party, the statement said.

DIU declared with pride that its fighting aim was to achieve the liberation and independence of Korea, carry out the socialist revolution and, furthermore, build socialism and communism, it noted.

The WPK is successfully carrying out the programme and idea of DIU, holding high the banner of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, it said.
