Kim Jong Il consolidated the political and ideological position of the DPRK as firm as a rock.

He put forward the Korean People's Army (KPA) as the pillar for accomplishing the socialist cause and the main force of the revolution and paid deep attention to firmly building up the political force of the Korean society with the KPA as the core. He rallied the broad masses around the Workers' Party of Korea and made all service personnel and people a harmonious whole sharing the idea and destiny with the party with his politics of love and trust. So, the DPRK has achieved the single-minded unity of the whole society, more powerful than nukes and demonstrated its might as a political and ideological power that remains undeterred by any storm.
