The Thai paper Xing San Daily on Oct. 8 dedicated one whole page to an article titled "Ever-victorious WPK" illustrated with a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung.

The Syrian paper Al Nour on Oct. 2 carried an article titled "On the occasion of 69th founding anniversary of WPK" which introduced the history of the WPK which has won one victory after another amid absolute support and trust of the popular masses.

The Indian paper New Delhi Times on Oct. 4 carried an article titled "Historical roots of WPK" which said:

The formation of Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU) was an event of special significance in shaping the destiny of the Korean people and the modern history of Korea.The WPK took its roots in DIU.

The programme of DIU became the basis of the WPK's programme.

The principle of independence, idea of DIU, serves as the guidelines for building of the WPK and its activities.

The WPK is successfully carrying forward the banner of single-minded unity held aloft by DIU.
