Rodong Sinmun Raps Reckless Remarks of S. Korean Authorities

Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- Yun Pyong Se, puppet minister of Foreign Affairs of south Korea, at a recent international seminar talked rubbish that the north should swim with the international community's "trend of peace, development and human rights" and get rid of isolation which was invited by itself. Hwang Jun Guk, chief delegate to the six-party talks, in a keynote speech at a symposium let loose invectives that "the north's nuclear adventure" reduced its inhabitants to "hostages of nuclear weapons." He went the lengths of finding fault with the north's line of simultaneously developing the two fronts and impudently admonishing it to "guarantee human rights and develop economy simultaneously". Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Monday terms this a cock-and-bull story told by those bereft of normal judging power being obsessed with the policy of toeing outsiders and escalating confrontation with fellow countrymen. The diplomatic authorities of south Korea make no scruple of letting loose outbursts provoking and slandering the dialogue partner, quite contrary to the requirements of the fellow countrymen and the trend of the times, an act of inciting confrontation while deliberately disturbing the north-south relations. Traitors Yun Pyong Se and Hwang Jun Guk pulled up the DPRK by letting loose sheer sophism only to disclose their dirty colors as stooges of the U.S. in its racket for stifling the DPRK and its colonial servants. The atmosphere for improving the north-south relations is chilled due to such fools unaware of what is the dignity of the nation and what is shame. The south Korean authorities would be well advised to find their obligation in the desire of the fellow countrymen and the requirements of the times and cool their head overheated with confrontation. |
