The editorial said that there took place the 1 000th Thursday rally of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy.

The members of the organization have waged actions for a true world free from human rights abuses for decades since they started an action in protest against the "civilian government" which refused to set free prisoners of conscience, the editorial noted.

It said that the members have called for realizing democracy of society despite all sorts of suppression and arrest by the security authorities.

The actions of the organization are drawing great attention under the present regime reminiscent of the past military dictatorship, it said, adding the more dynamic action of the organization will be staged in protest against the ceaseless human rights abuses by the power.
