Ali Houdou, president of the party, said:

Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), developed the party into the socialist ruling party deeply rooted among the popular masses and absolutely supported and trusted by them.

He authored famous works such as "On the Fundamental Issue of Revolutionary Party Building" when ruling parties degenerated and socialism was frustrated in various countries at the end of the last century, giving lucid answers to theoretical and practical issues arising in party building and activities.

His works serve as important guidelines and textbooks teaching revolutionary parties aspiring after socialism how to successfully perform their missions and roles under any difficult and complicated situation.

The vice-president of the party noted that it is the firm will of Marshal Kim Jong Un to develop the WPK into the party fully meeting the interests of the people and serving them, true to the intention of Kim Jong Il.
