Presentation of Sci-Technological Achievements in Salt-making Field Held

Onchon, October 22 (KCNA) -- The national presentation of sci-technological achievements in the salt-making field took place in Onchon County, South Phyongan Province on Wednesday. It was held under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present there were teachers, researchers, technicians, postgraduates and officials of scientific and educational institutions and the salt-making field including Kim Il Sung University, Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering, Salt Industry Management Bureau of the Ministry of Chemical Industry and the Salt-making Research Institute of the State Academy of Sciences.

The participants heard at least 30 valuable papers.

Introduced at the presentation were achievements and experience gained in settling scientific and technological issues for increasing salt production.

Highly appreciated there were papers of Kim Il Sung University and the Salt Industry Management Bureau of the Ministry of Chemical Industry.

Certificates and prizes were awarded to those participants who presented good papers.
