Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the undying exploits President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un performed in building and leading the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Films shown included Korean films "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation" and "Pyongyang Today."

Present at the events were personages and masses from all walks of life in Guinea.

The chairman of the Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Literary Idea in a lecture titled "DIU and WPK" referred to the significance of the formation of the DIU.

He said:

The revolutionary cause of Juche started by Kim Il Sung is dynamically advancing along the road of independence, Songun and socialism.

The history of the Korean revolution is characterized by the victory won along the road pioneered by the DIU.

Glory will always be in store for the WPK advancing along the path of independence, Songun and socialism.

The chief of the administration and construction of a general company of Guinea noted that Kim Il Sung formed the DIU on Oct. 17, 1926, making it possible for the Korean revolution to make a new start and the Korean people to advance along the correct road.

The chief of the public work of the same company said after watching a film that the DPRK is shedding its rays to the whole world thanks to the guidance of the great party.
